We are excited to head back to Tasmania for another Combined Club Weekend of great fun and crazy good diving!
To secure your spot, please make sure you pay the $200 non-refundable deposit by Wednesday 26th of April.

Housekeeping info:

• This event is open only to current members. To successfully register for this event, please, ensure that your membership is up to date. Register here: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/ltudive/registration/
  If you are experiencing any issues renewing or uncertain if your membership is up to date please email info@divelatrobe.org.au

• Please note that most dives in Tasmania range deeper than 18 metres. To make the most of this trip, we strongly suggest members to be at least Advanced Open Water (AOW) certified.
  If you are interested in undertaking the AOW course before the trip, please respond to this email with your expression of interest.

• Save the date for Wednesday the 7th of June, this is when we will be packing our gear and vehicles. More details to follow on what to bring.

• If desired, provide two preferences in response to the registration, of who you would like to share a cabin with and we will endeavour to accommodate this preference for both the overnight trip on the Spirit and for Accomodation in Bicheno.

What’s included:

In order for this trip to be a great success, we endeavour for each and every club member to volunteer their hands on deck wherever they can. Everything that we can and will do for you requires the time and energy of volunteers, and we want you to be one of them!

Combined Club Weekend Tasmania 2023

Wednesday 7th
6pm pack vehicles with gear/tanks etc at the Club shed. Bring your own gear this evening.

Thursday 8th
Meet at La Trobe at 3pm (to leave 3.30pm) to head to Spirit of Tasmania in Geelong. *TBC time

Friday 9th
Christmas Hill Raspberry Farm stop at 8am, table booked for those who would like to buy their own breakfast or just a nice coffee for the road. Next stop is Bicheno. We check in at Bicheno at the Bay cabins and get boat/gear ready for first boat dive. Dinner together or out.

Saturday 10th

• Sunrise dive
• Breakfast
• Morning dive
• Lunch
• Arvo dive / whisky testing?
• CCW Evening with Dinner in Main Hall. Time TBC.

Sunday 11th

• Sunrise dive
• Breakfast
• Morning dive
• Lunch (everyone organise themselves)
• 3pm Golf Ball Dive Event - Collect Golf Balls in Bicheno Bay to win prizes!!
• CCW Evening with Dinner in Main Hall. Time TBC.
• Party after ' Location TBC'

Monday 12th

• Sunrise dive
• Breakfast
• Morning dive
• Lunch (everyone organise themselves)
• After lunch dive
• or if some people prefer to visit Wineglass bay?
• Dinner prepped together around the fireplace

Tuesday 13th

• Sunrise dive if time allowes?
• Packing up and leaving before noon.
• Option to explore; Honeycomb Dry Cave, Chocolate factory and more.
• Check in Spirit of Tas in Davenport at 4.30pm heading home

This is a rough estimate on how the weekend might look like. The diving schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions, as always. If this happens we will rally together and explore other areas around Bicheno.

Wednesday 14th
Return to Geelong around 7am. Meet straight after at Club Shed to empty the vehicles. THE END of a great trip!
